Joon recovered from his coughing fit, though his throat still burned from the alcohol going down the wrong pipe. He straightened up and shook Xiao's—as he'd just learned was his name—hand in return. Why he had been so stunned was a mystery to him. He didn't usually get flustered around people seeing as how he grew up with them around him all of the time. It was highly uncharacteristic of him. He was very aware of exactly how close the other male was sitting to him, though he didn't really mind it, he couldn't help but feel a tad bit self-conscious. The thought made him quietly chuckle to himself. Joon never acted like this, he oozed confidence with everything he did, even if he was just retrieving the mail, he walked towards the mailbox like he owned the world. 'Get a hold of yourself Joon, this isn't the first time you've seen someone attractive.' Leaving his inner thoughts and coming back to reality, he started paying attention to the conversations around him again. He wondered how Jian and Xiao really knew each other but let the question fade as his attention was drawn to his sister's strange rambling. He looked at her and raised a brow, curious about her sudden change in behavior, even though he hadn't been doing much better himself. He knew of only one instance of her acting like that and it was when she first met her ex-boyfriend. The sheer thought of Hei liking Jian, even in the slightest bit, was enough to send a sickening chill down
his spine. He quickly pushed the thought out of his mind, not having the strength to dwell on the matter any longer.
Joon's right hand immediately shot up to fix his hair when Jian messed with it while poking his bottom lip out as if he were pouting. "I have my own special way of greeting people." Of course it was reserved for people he knew well, and even then there were some—like his father—who he wouldn't dare greet in such a manner least he wanted to have his hand cut off. Time was ticking by and Joon no longer felt the need to stay at the event much longer, but he didn't plan on returning alone when a new thought popped up in his mind. He directed his attention back to Xiao, feeling much bolder, he leaned in closer and lowered his voice. "I'd love to get to know you somewhere more private." He pulled away with his hand still lingering on Xiao's thigh, a small grin on his face. Was Joon the type to know someone for five minutes and try to take them home? Well, yeah. He was kind of a manwhore, Hei chastised him for it regularly. It never bothered him though, he couldn't see himself being with just one person, the thought made him shudder. If he were ever to get in a monogamous relationship he'd feel like he was neglecting the others who deserved his special attention.
