"Hubbagah!" Henry yelled as he woke up from his dream. His face felt funny and he looked down at the keyboard. He had played late into the night again. he looked up to see what had happened to his character to find that it had been killed. "Aw man!" he ruffled his hair in frustration. He tapped the exit button, but nothing happened. "Aw CRAP!!!" he yelled. "Uncle Vernon! Why didn't you wake me up?" he hollered.

There was no sound. It wasn't that surprising sometimes his uncle would go out and help people in the neighborhood.

"The game is afoot!" squawked Sherlock one of Henry's african grey parrots.
"That thong th thong thong thong," replied the second.

Henry groaned. he was going to have to really hit his friend Sean when they next met. Teaching his bird such a stupid phrase. He let them out of their cage and gave each a nut to chew on. As they ate Henry got dressed. He watched them finish and then picked them up and placed them on their favorite shoulders. He carefully made his way down the stairs as his stomach started to rumble.

"Man, I could reall-" he stopped in shock as he found his uncle sitting at the table in mid drink. "Hey u-" he started this time as he spotted the fact that his uncle had not only not looked at him but hadn't blinked the whole time. He stepped up to quickly and the birds fluttered as they tried to keep themselves on his shoulders. He slowed down for them but the slowness of his movements just seemed to make things worse as time rolled on.

'Time,' he thought to himself. He looked at the clock on the wall. It wasn't moving. Henry moved to the window as he saw figures outside. He was about to call out when his voice wouldn't come out.

"Call me Ishmeal," said Sherlock.
"Shiver me timbers," answered Watson.

"You can say that again." he said without thinking. As he stared at the motionless scene before him.

"Call me Ishmeal," said Sherlock.
"Shiver me timbers," answered Watson.

He put his hand on the door handle but he couldn't stop the shaking. His eyes were tightly closed but he just couldn't stop it.
"I'm too scared," he said to himself.

"A lot of people are scared of heights." said Sherlock.
"Not me, I'm afraid of widths." replied Watson. Henry chuckled softly as his body started to relax.

"Good point guys. We won't get any braver from staying inside." And with that said he put on his shoes and stepped outside. He tried to look far off for any movement but saw nothing." He figured he'd walked to the center of Leonia.
