Jason heard a distant yell. This sound immediately woke him up from sleep. Instinctively he grabbed his gun. which was laying near his side. He slide his thumb over the safety and cocked the gun. All this happening within a couple of seconds. It was dark, his fire was dwindling, only a few embers giving off heat and light. Jason slid out from his sleeping bag, in a frantic manner matter he stood, tuning in to hear the distant yell.

It was a human, possibly a man, and it was probably near-by. Jason grabbed a knife, a flash light, and his gun and set off towards where the sound came from. I should be safe, as long as I don't leave the walls. Jason quickly told himself. This gave him assurance that he would be OK. He watched as the wall drew closer. Soon a figure appeared in the distance, a limping body, walking slowly, covered in blood. Jason drew his knife and quietly shouted towards the figure.
