Apparently it seemed that someone had seen him too. They may have just heard him or something else. Perhaps if he waited they would forget that he was there. Somehow, having to wait there watching them seemed creepy. A million other thoughts started to rush by his head as he started to panic a bit. This situation would mark him as a creeper in general, maybe he should just go and forget that any of this happened. No, that would be a bad idea too. They may have already seen him and would try to find him later. He couldn't walk into the open either. They may suddenly attack him if they were also hunters. All he could do right now is wait and see. Maybe he could explain himself if they happened to find him.

There seemed to be something about one of them. Are they wearing cat ears and a tail? Did he stumble upon some L.A.R.P.ers by accident? That might be preferable but it would still be embarrassing to explain what he was doing. It was decided, he would stay still and look for a chance to get away when they weren't so wary. If they spotted him then all he could do was explain himself and possibly apologize.
