Baptiste, a member of the High Council, hit his gavel on the podium three times to get everyone to be silent. No success. He literally had to shout over them. "Order!" The Council knew better than to drive him to that point. He would always do something semi-violent to make an example of anyone who disturbed the peace in the room. As such, he grabbed the instigator by the throat and said, "There is a fine line between stating your case and just causing trouble. I trust you will not provoke that man and others to where the things are chatoic again?" He let go and said to the others, "This meeting is adjorned!"

With the meeting out of the way, Baptiste made his way to the palace, where he personal office resided. He placed his rapier and its scabbard next to his desk as he sat down. The life of a Councilor was one of stress. More stress than just being a knight. He always had a set to make coffee with nearby, which he used to make three mugfulls of it. He always drank more than one mug on a day where he was stressed out or otherwise in a bad mood.
