Amelia "Cody" Coulde

Cody was sat just behind the front, pressed against the window in the sardine-like crush. She'd already made her quota of fieldtrip jokes, so she'd settled for looking out the window, reading the roadsigns.
"Peachy." Cody deadpanned back to Alex, adjusting herself so that she wasn't quite so very squished between the window and Ramona. She was pretty glad she'd managed to snag a window seat, at least she wasn't frying with heat on both sides. She knew her first job was probably going to be scouring the local archives, so she paid extra attention to where the signs for libraries or the town hall might be. She knew the case, a pair of newlyweds, dream house, ghostly insanity goes down. And thus, PIT enters to save the day. She noticed a truck, and rolled her eyes at the license plate. Blake was already in town, seeing as he hadn't had to collect and pack equipment for his lurking other than his cel phone. She stayed quiet though. She looked around the truck, seeing if anyone was doing anything interesting. She noticed Phoenix handing out the gadgets, and turned the headset and bracelet over in her hands.
"Couldn't you just scream really loud if you're in trouble? The house isn't that big." Cody stated. She knew she was kind of baiting Phoenix, but such was their way. Either way, she hooked the communicator to her ear, and put the bracelet on her wrist, making sure the button sat where a watch's face would, for ease of pressing.

Blake Coulde

Blake was looking for the library. It's always best to start with the history of a house before you do anything in it, such as what PIT were going to get up to. He'd remembered that tidbit of advice from one of the books in the family library, from when he and Cody would sit for hours just scouring through them, their powerful memories burning every word of every line of every book into their minds. Eidetic memories were funny things. But they were useful things too. Blake kept his eyes on the road in front of himself, but he briefly spotted PIT's truck on an intersection. He knew he'd frightened some of them in the past. Well. He really wouldn't say "frightened". Annoyed. Almost incurred the protective wrath of. He was still surprised that Madeline wasn't frightened of him, but he definitely wasn't complaining. He spotted Cody looking out the window at his car, and he just saw her begin to roll her eyes before the truck was gone. He rolled his own eyes at Cody's reaction. Cody'd talked to him a million and one times about his habits, about how he should really quit it with the lurking. He didn't want to. He knew, with his lungs, he couldn't really join a paranormal investigation group, not fully. But at the same time, he just wanted to help out. If he could do that without talking to people, so much the better.
