"Well Jay, I guess the two of them were having some kind of fight before we walked in," Luke commented after Minato and Ray had run off. "So let's head back to our dorms for the room mate check, meet you outside of 1A?" He proposed the idea as casually as he could to get things rolling again, and used his dorm as a meeting point since he didn't Jay's room. He really didn't wait long for a reply, in fact it was more like he made the suggestion while walking off. He had gotten a bit caught up in the pace of things so if Jay had a change of mind, he'd probably missed it.
Luke arrived at his room in a hurry and found no one there, but it seem his room mate had settled in. Thinking he'd try to catch some photos around campus, Luke grabbed his camera. The thing had many uses, he could casually take pictures and even had it modified with night vision, IR and thermal capabilities. Aside from genuinely being good for photos and clips, the modifications had let him size up many a target without looking suspicious. Night photography was of course good for a night time job; but the thermal allowed for a general look of his target by tracking their body heat, revealing little secrets along with some awesome pictures; the IR filter was a little sneaky, by using a combination of regular and infrared light, it allowed the camera to see through one layer of clothing. This incredibly perverted function had practical uses: it let him see any weapons under clothes or spot a bullet proof vest that might have been hidden in thermal. It also made regular shots of things like plants and buildings look alien from the light distortion, so long as no one is in the shot it seems fine; but then again he didn't intend to take pictures of people today.
With that he slung the camera strap around his neck and focused the thermal view on his hand, he had to let the thing calibrate a bit if he wanted good thermal shots. That and since thermal was the most sensitive setting, by the time it was clear and readable, so was everything else. Still focusing on the camera, which was locked onto his hand, he stepped outside the door. If Jay was there then they could head to the courts, if not then it shouldn't be too hard tracking him down.
