Jayden nodded, accepting the handshake. She made sure it wasn't too weak though, which was actually a habit of having to put up with all her friends picking on her when she didn't do something as well as them, but was really convenient now that she was a guy.

"Good to meet you," she said then, slightly more eagerly, "Hey, I met one of the older guys earlier and we were going to head for the basketball court. You wanna come?"

She didn't really mind, she could play on her own if it came down to that, but he was her roommate and it would be a Hell of a lot easier if they had something in common. As of yet she'd found nothing except that they were both attending this school. Yeah, this could be a long year.
