Taylin Maxwell stepped out of her old farmhouse at the arrival of a text from an unknown number. The text said her limo would be there in 10-15 minutes. She left her stuff on the porch and made a round to say goodbye to all her pets. She took especially long with her childhood horse. She made her way back to the house when the sound of tires on gravel reached her ears. She hugged all her family goodbye, each telling her something different.
Her mom - "Don't go spending all your money in the first city."
Her dad - "Better not fall for any French boys now, ya hear?"
Her little brother - "Can you bring me a baby Godzilla?"
And her grandmother - "Just you have fun. Don't listen to them old coots."
She put all her things in the limo and waved goodbye. Taylin got in and watched her home shrink in the back window before turning to face the front and buckle.
