Alexander looked at Delilah as she glanced at him, and then played with her hair. The pace of her heartbeats picking up was so inviting. That and her scent. He couldn’t help but shift around a little, maybe just a little closer. A chuckle escaped his lips as she started to speak, but threw in a ‘nevermind’ before she finished.

That always stirred at Alexander’s curiosity. He leaned in a little closer to Delilah and captured a stray strand of hair. “Yes?” He said, encouraging her to continue to ask her question or to make her statement. A smile formed on his lips as he neatly tugged the hair in behind her ear.
Delilah’s open neck was irresistible, but luckily Alexander could resist her strong pulse and alluring smell. He only was stronger than what he used to be a few hundred years ago, the most tempting was open wounds or hints of wounds.
Like the mark a needle left on her soft skin.

Alexander made a little gesture with his hand to suggest that he was listening and that it was alright for Delilah to continue with what she was about to say. He would never have thought that it was because he was so close to her that she was shy, it actually made him more confident to be alone with her.
