Kael was glad to see Tony's mood immediately change after using the pad. He seemed a bit happier. No....not happy, relieved? It didn't matter really, as long as he was just a notch above that somber mood he was in before, that was at least a little better. His eyes kept flicking back to Erin, waiting for something. More like waiting for her.
Kael barely held back a laugh when he realized he was looking at Tony, Tony was looking at Erin, and Erin was looking up at himself. Like some kind of wacky stare triangle. Erin was a bit harder to read than Tony was. When she finally tore her gaze away, she sounded almost disappointed to have to walk him back. Kael was a little disappointed himself. He wasn't exactly ready to tuck in for the night.
Before Kael could form his thoughts into words, Tony piped up and walked away. His attitude seemed to change as well, going from relieved to a bit annoyed in the blink of an eye. "It was nice to meet you too," Kael said as Tony left.
He turned back to Erin, "I don't suppose he grows on you does he?"
