"Not sure," she answered Kael, crossing her arms. "Haven't had time to get to know him really. We've been here a few hours."

She turned a little, eyes on Kael again and itching to start practicing, to learn everything she could from his slightly higher level of expertise. Brown orange eyes trailing down to his hands, she wondered what he found most successful. Concentration? Certain thoughts?

"Do you want to go back to the roof?" she asked, hands now at her sides, fists clenched in determination. "We could practice."

Before Kael could answer, none other than their shared fire teacher appeared. His shaggy black hair shadowed his face ominously, his thoughts not collected at all. Erin gasped, his appearance quite sudden, then stood up straighter. Her first impression with the teacher, even if she already knew she didn't like him, had to be good.

His eyes flicked over to them. "You should go to your dorms," he said quietly, accent thicker somehow, expression tired. Erin fleetingly wondered about the tall collapsed man. "We putting a curfew on tonight. We..." His eyes slid to the side. "We just want to be safe."

Erin didn't quite understand, but nodded. She waved to Kael, disappointed, and started off toward the Thrull common room.


Courtney Knolls

They had decided to send all the kids to bed. Courtney herself thought the idea a bit rude, not explaining themselves to the students at all, but she agreed and started walking the grounds. Gina had mentioned a pair out here before. She wouldn't be surprised if they had crept back out.

She only found Atomsk though. Her promise rang in her head and she slowly approached his lounging figure, tapping his foot to gain his attention.

"He's doing okay," she told him, expression hardly reassuring though. One of her fingertips brushed at the corner of her eye, a tear forming. "We're sending all the students to their dorms though. Just as...a precaution. If anything changes...I'll let you know." Before he could ask, she added, "No one will see him. Not until he wakes up."
