Erin Vines

Someone had put her bag on the bed and in the morning, Erin decided to empty the few contents and organize her belongings in the drawers beside her bed. After her papers and pens were tucked away, she stuck the empty bag between the drawers and the bed, making sure the strap remained folded in so she didn't trip on it later.

This room held three other girls, including Franki. Erin figured it was her who had put the bag back. She would have to remember to thank her, but not now. She looked dead asleep. The other two girls did too.

Erin took the opportunity to shower and redress, donning a black skirt, a deep blue button down short sleeve and as always the blue gem choker necklace. No one had noticed it yesterday, which suited her just fine. Gazing in the mirror as she brushed out her damp reddish hair, she smiled at the gem. It held no true significance. She liked blue, but she liked every color. It was really the fact that it was the first object she had bought with her own money three years before.

Smiling gently, she finished shaking out her locks so it dried curly and pulled on a pair of dress boots. Lacing up, she considered if she should get food, find Kael, or her teacher first. Considering the energy she wasted just trying to summon a single flame, food would probably help first. Flipping her hair over her shoulder, she started out, noting the notice pasted to the door and shivering slightly as she entered the hallway.

Of all the teams she had to be assigned to, she had to be in Thrull, the Falcons.

Erin hated birds.

Reaching the cafeteria, she was pleased to find Kael had already arrived. She was a bit disappointed that he wasn't alone. It would make suggesting a practice session all the more difficult. But she smiled a little, feeling refreshed in a way. Sleep must have helped her calm down from her anger the night before with Franki, and the shock of the entire situation of this school in the first place.

Grabbing an egg and some toast, she debated what to say. She didn't want to barge into their conversation. That was rude. But so was just sitting down and waiting quietly until they noticed her.

Erin rolled her eyes and crossed the cafeteria to the two boys, holding her plate in one hand and asking, "Can I sit with you guys?"
