Bastian grinned sideways again, one hand coming up to rub at the back of his neck as his gaze shifted between the two. He just followed alongside once they started walking again. He was used to being quiet, so it wasn't a hardship letting the two girls talk while he just played tag-a-long. Once they made it to the arcade, he'd divide up the food, and then check in with the manager on how he wanted to train the new employee. Until then, he glanced now and then to the two girls.

Evie was acting like she liked Danny, like liked like. He didn't know if Evie swung that way or not. Then again, he hadn't ever come right out and told his friend he batted for the same team, too worried that it'd somehow get back to his family. A muscle along the side of his jaw clenched briefly before he pushed all that aside to focus on the day.
