Gale felt her tears on his body, and only then did it occur to him he still was shirtless. He rubbed her back with one hand. "It's okay." He said almost whispering, trying to calm her down. "What hurts?" He asked, but then he realized that might have been a bad question. "Only a few more days Kat, only a few more days." He recited. Hoping it only would be a few more days. She asked him to make the pain stop, but Gale couldn't. He couldn't do what she asked him to do, and it hurt Gale. He needed to, and she needed to, wait it out.
