Inside the illustrious hotel, a full blown casino with slots, roulette, card flip, and Voltorb flip, awaits to the immediate right. The desk up ahead seems to be the main desk, where a friendly employee will give you a room.

Valorie was a bit taken back by the challenge, but none-the-less she silently accepted. She then asked the male to wait with a slightly awkward smile on her face. It took an equally awkward amount of time, but then a haxorus made it's way right into the casino as if it belonged there. The armored axe-raptor emitted a growl, but Valorie placed a hand on it's side in a friendly manner. "Don't worry—He's with me. Ready when you are...~" she said, just the slightest hint of pride seeping into her voice as she admired Haxorus ability to unnerve nearby citizens. The dragon pokemon emitted a challenge-growl and lowered it's head in an almost threatening manner, preparing for battle. Valorie started off with a dragon dance attack, quickly followed by protect to intercept the ace trainer's attempt at scoring a solid hit. It had rapidly become apparent that Haxorus was much faster and was about to run circles around the other trainer's pokemon, abusing it's armor and massive strength to make a joke out of the battle. It only took about three pokemon to win, the last of which turned out to be a steelix. This time, Valorie ordered haxorus to take the hit hoping she could take one more. She did, and immediately retaliated with a powerful counter attack, following up with a devastating reversal. The steelix dropped like a rock, but the ace trainer was done. He'd seen enough. With a proper thanks and an exchange of money, he left Valorie and her quite weakened haxorus to face the others.
