Finally, before Zadra was starting to get impatient, she felt the tube come to its end. She free fell for about 2 seconds, and braced herself for impact. Except, there was no impact with a flat surfice. She had landed in what she assumed was water.

She held her breath, pushing herself up to the surface, and looked around. She did a double take before finally realizing that she was somewhere in the middle of the ocean. Was that it? Was that really the end of the alien madness and the escape? Was she finally back on earth?
No. Upon looking back up at the blue sky, she saw no trace of the tube or the spacecraft. This was merely a hologram, an optical illusion. The scary thing was, it all felt so real. There was the distinct smell of salt in the water, and she could feel a slight breeze blowing through her hair.

Curious, Zadra dived under the water, trying to reach down as far as she could. There on the sandy floor were hundreds upon hundreds of the same crates. Some were broken, while others were still intact. It was too dark below the water to see exactly what they looked like, but the silhouettes were enough. The question was, why would the Zedasians just throw these crates into the water? After all, it was a waste of productivity. Zadra pushed herself up above the water again, and waited for the others to come down, that's if they decided to follow he in the first place.
