The lion-man quirked an eyebrow. They obviously weren't hostile, and their lack of response showed him that they weren't of his kind. Mafsha deduced that he had not simply transported to another part of his planet. Plus, these feline humanoids were much smaller than the average Aryite. He pointed at the necklace and then back at himself. They wanted him to wear it? Well, Mafsha had never seen a necklace with a harmful magical enchantment, so it must be relatively safe. Was it a peace offering?
He gingerly reached out with his large furred paw-hands and took the necklace with a nod of acknowledgement. The lion-man draped it over his head and it fell across his short mane.
"What are you called?" he spoke deeply. "What is this place?"
