Viana Nilin stared down at her ten inch by ten inch map. She'd lived in Republic City her whole life, she knew where she was. City Park, easily marked by a seven on her map... The problem was, the map was outdated. It didn't have the Academy on it. She whistled.
"Boy, am I in trouble..." She shook her head and, after rolling the map back up, shoved the map into her brass canister. She didn't think to ask for where the Academy might've been. She had assumed it would have been on her map. After about twenty minutes of casual walking, she found a street map. Apon inspection, she put her hand on the map and memorized where the Academy was, so she could find it on her mini map. And she walked at a brisk pace towards it.
In honesty, she was impressed by the Academy, and it's dojo-like style. She wouldn't let that show, though, and instead she trodded to the front door and quietly pushed it open, and stood in the back of the line. She had no idea what was going on, but she could observe for now.
