Ling Ma stood at the entrance way, golden eyes staring up at sign with a single bag slung over her shoulder. Growing up in Republic City, she knew the area farely well. And her father made sure to drop her off at the front door, knowing full well she would probably try to run. Ling Ma wasn't one to always do as she was told, usually resulting in a lot of fighting. Her bending was Earth, and she could be as stubborn as a rock, or as tough. And here she was, ready to learn from the Avatar. A rare opportunity in deed, since no Earth Bending masters could handle her.

Taking a deep breath in, she let it out slowly, before pushing the doors open to what would be a long road to Mastery of bending Earth. She could hear benders already at work, and made her way to where the noise came from, peaking her head inside.

The Avatar was watching others bend, while directing the new comers to the back of the line. Dropping her bag near the entrance of the door, she had made it just in time for the water tribe girl to show what she had. It was quite obvious she was nervous, but she seemed to be doing alright.
