“Mrs. Rodin…Mrs. Rodin!” a man from the valet counter called to her though she didn’t answer, he stepped in front of her stopping her. “Mrs. Rodin, would you like me to bring your car around?” he spoke to her as if she was some wealthy heiress.
“I’m sorry you have the wrong person.” She said
“I assure you I don’t, You and your husband came in last night and had my valets park your car, right before your husband was arrested.” He said giving her a worried look.
“Oh, right.” She glanced outside “Yeah, bring my care around.”
“Right away miss. Jonathan.” The man spoke as one of the Valets ran outside.
Within a few moments an orange Lamborghini Aventador was parked outside the doors of the hotel. A smirk lit Emmy’s face. “Damn, I really hope I didn’t buy this thing.” She whispered as the man handed her the keys. She used the GPS on her phone as she drove the unfamiliar roads of Las Vegas trying to find the jail that her so called husband was locked up in. She didn’t even know this guy, he could be a murder for all she knew. “You really did it this time Emerson.” She shook her head as the stop light she was stopped at turned red and the engine of the expansive sports car purred. She finally pulled into the parking lot of the jail, of course everyone looking at the pretty party girl in the shiny sports car.
She waited in line a few moments before finally reaching the woman typing into her computer. “How can I help you?” she asked not at all interested. “I’m umm, I’m here to bell out my…my husband?” she was trying hard to remember his name, knowing they would ask for it. “Name please?” she said never taking her eyes away from the computer. “Derrick Rodin?” she said unsure of herself. “Danny?” the women corrected “Yeah.” She breathed. “six hundred please.” “Six hundred! You got to be kidding me…” she rolled her eyes handing the women her credit card from her wallet, thankfully it had been in the hotel room. “Bring the new guy around, he made bail.” The women called to one of the police officers. Before glancing back to Emerson “Have a seat it will take a moment to process him.” She said plainly.
