Earth... Brains.... Life
Caitlin hears a wail. She runs through the shrubbery and peeks at the town. She sees a little girl crying. The Caitlin notices the girl is pale faced. What should I do? Caitlin thinks. Why is this so confusing? It looks like this cute girl won't hurt her. Caitlin walks in the street, dagger in hand. Caitlin runs to the girl and picks her up. Caitlin doesn't care about the blood dripping from her fingers that comes from the girls knee. She sees a small clearing where she sets the girl down. "Stay." Caitlin says sternly. She looks around and finds a blueberry bush. She grabs some berries and drops them next to the girl. "Here. Eat these." Caitlin looks at the girl and strokes her nice hair to soothe her. "It's okay, it's okay, sweetheart."
