Billy blinked as Nate stood to leave so shortly after having sat down. "I'm going to go for a short walk, I'll catch you later Billy," he said as he leaned in to hug her. She gave him a light hug back, and waited for the library door to close behind him. "I suppose that's code for, 'Athenabitch is calling and I don't want to make her mad'..." she said, directing her attention back to Kenzie. " I really don't like that girl, but whatever. So, I have Painting Roses Red booked to preform and Catching Hell, too. They're both up and coming bands, and their singers are pretty hot. If Nate plans on bringing Athena, promise you'll be my emergency date?" Billy smiled over at her friend, not noticing that her annoyance with Athena had caused the bookmarks on the side table to start vibrating lightly. A wave of her hand put the markers back to a resting position.
While Kenzie responded, Billy glanced out the multiple windows of the library. From the view she could see the practice field where gym took place. She frowned inwardly at the thought of gym. The teacher was a real ass, and she hated getting sweaty. The frown slowly melted into a smile as she thought of what takes place in that field after-hours. It's where the guys went to fight each other, and where she went to watch. She hated being sweaty, but she didn't mind watching the guys break into some. She pulled her eyes back into the library, and her thoughts back to the current conversation to hear what Kenzie had to say.
