Bridgette felt a blanket cover her and looked up to see Chase. He then sat in front of her on the floor, but his back was mostly to her. He began to tell Bridgette about his family, and then he told her how they died. Bridgette stared at Chase, a little in shock. He was here because his family died? "I should have done something. I just couldn't, i was too scared. I'm a coward!" Though she couldn't really see his face, Bridgette could tell he was crying. She noticed him tense up, and looked to see his hands balled up into fists. Pausing only for a moment, Bridgette slid off the couch and sat next to Chase on the floor, putting the blanket around them both. She them laid he hands over his fists, hoping he'd stop. He was going to hurt himself at this rate.
"Hey, you're not a coward Chase. How old were you, 12? Of course you would have been scared. I'd still be scared, I'm 17," Bridgette reasoned, before putting an arm around Chase and giving him a small hug. "I'm sorry about your family," she added.
