Ryan winced slightly, looking at Avery. It was almost as bad as being the one injured, seeing your friend hurt. Forcing himself to look away, the hooded guy started speaking again. Ryan stiffened a bit at the foul monster comment. He knew Avery, and he wasn't a monster. Even this version wasn't a monster. Creepy, yeah, but weren't a lot of people? When the man moved toward
Avery, Ryan immediately moved in front of him, cutting him off.
Someone was growling, and it took Ryan a moment to realize it was him. If it wasn't for his friend bleeding to death because of the crazy hood-wearers, Ryan would have laughed. He'd never growled before. At least, not in a way that sounded like a wolf about to kill someone. Tearing himself from his inner thoughts, he tried to focus on what was happening. He didn't care if the guy was Avery or not, he wasn't letting these guys hurt him. No matter what. And hopefully, he'd be able to help the guy before he bled to death.
Narrowing his eyes, Ryan tried to get a glimpse at the mans face. Just one glimpse was all he needed, but it seemed almost impossible. This very well could be Ryan's worst nightmare, even when it wasn't in his own head.

Bridgette watched Chase leave, and just sat on the floor for a few minutes until she heard light snoring coming from upstairs. Smiling a bit to herself, she got up to throw out her now empty fruit cup. When she was done, she went back and laid on the couch, dozing off. She was tired, and going upstairs was too much work.
