Ryan froze hearing a shout from inside the room, followed by a loud thud. It sounded almost like Avery was trying to get away, which Ryan wasn't sure if it was because he thought Ryan was someone else, or he was scared of Ryan himself. He heard his friend swear quietly, and waited outside the door to see if his friend would let him in. After a moment, he heard Avery say his name, but the way he said it worried Ryan.

Deciding it was okay to come in, Ryan went inside and looked around, finding Avery pressed against a wall clutching a sheet. Ryan looked him over, and he had to admit he looked horrible. Then again, getting tortured in your dreams because your cabin mate happens to be a Alp probably isn't the best thing to have happen.

Nervously, Ryan walked over to Avery, reaching out to push the sheet away. "You okay?" Ryan asked, knowing it was a dumb question. But he couldn't think of something else to say.
