Alkaline woke up suddenly. She was terrified, having a feverish nightmare. Ray noticed how sad Alkaline looked and rubbed against her legs, purring. "I've got to get back there," alkaline stated, "My fever is getting worse and I'm going to be too delirious to take care of us." She patted Ray and walked back the the small gathering. Ugh. More drama and mayhem. She walked right into and looked around, but being confused and feverish, she collapsed. Right smack bang in the middle of all the mayhem, Ray mewed at Alkaline who didn't stir. Ray got into a protective stance by her side and growled at the two groups huddled around wounded little girls.
