This place was always dank and Annette didn't like it much. It might of been because she could control fire that the cold affected her so much but she wasn't sure. Though no matter how cold this cave ever was she knew all she had to do was get to her chair. As the phoenix came to life, the image bright and flickering like flames, the seat it's self would begin to warm. Snuggling into the chair she brought her feet up into the seat getting comfortable while she watched the others file in and get situated. She watched as Allie as she made her double and then one walked away, she wasn't sure which was which at first and the she noticed the one in the chair was missing a foot for a moment. So Allie had left the table, how such a skittish girl had made a deal with death she wasn't sure but in the end it was really none of her business so she turned away and pretended not to have seen anything.

Having settled in she waited now for the meeting to begin. Sometimes she didn't see the point in these meetings, often times the target was an easy catch and Death sending all of them to capture one soul was a bit of an overkill if you asked her. Once again though it wasn't her place to question others, especially not Death. She supposed that all this unnecessary leg work was just his way of making them earn their keep during down time. Of course there was always the possibility that this target was indeed a tough one, she was just going to have to wait and see.
