Clarice Akakios barely had time to react to the thrown sword as she narrowly sidestepped the blade. The sword tore through her hood and left a shallow cut on her cheek as it flew past her, tearing the hood from her cloak. The young woman spun around furiously, her body quivering with rage barely held in check.
"What were you trying to do there?" she cried out angrily.
