Kaelana frowned at Augustus' assessment, balling her hands into fists as she was gently ushered down to the cafeteria. “Avalyn does not possess the capability to do this and if she were around me last night, I would have known. I have a top notch security system.” By which, she meant the animals that lived in the willow with her. But Augustus seemed to be thinking of something else as he wandered away with his cereal. Her frowned deepened as she sat next to Arturo and slammed her fists against the table. “What the fuck?!” Her fists slamming had caught Genevieve's attention as well as that of the others, Ginny being the one who cried out. Cheveyo and Arturo looked at the Brazilian who sank her face into her hands. The Native American rubbed her back some. “You think it could be a late side effect of your powers. Like...being branded by nature or something? If you think about it, its pretty cool. And free tattoos. Plus the green would go a lot better with your outfits than the brown.” The clone grinned some as he attempted to comfort her.
Arturo looked on, taking a minute to glance down at Kaelana's long legs, letting out a low whistle. Hot. I wonder just how much those tattoos will cover. Kaelana grunted from her position before lifting her head. “Yeah, I guess.” She shrugged and nodded some. “Where's breakfast?” Genevieve, who had disregarded the situation to eyeball the new girl and new boy. “Breakfast is on the table.” Ginny didn't even bother to look at the table which, in fact, had no breakfast on it at all. But from a simple thought in her head...Fruit bowl, bacon, eggs, waffles, and maple syrup. She simply thought that it was there, and there it was. She could hear her friends digging in as she watched Augustus approach the one called Philanie right after Jack had sat down.
Philanie was still poking in a nonchalant manner at her oatmeal, watching the goopy mess...goop around. She sighed, but soon swallowed that sigh as a guy sat down near her. She glanced up at him and blinked rapidly, feigning frightful surprise. “Oh...go ahead...” She offered a smile that was so sweet her lips might as well have been dripping with honey. “Yeah...This place is something. Uh – I'm Philanie, by the way. But...You can call me Nina. Or Nina the Evil. Because even though I've only been here three days, I've been deemed evil. What about you...Jack?” She spoke in a light and joking tone, a master of deception. Though, she had to admit to herself that the guy was pretty adorable. In a little brother sort of way. Even though he was probably older than her. She gave a light giggle, tucking a few strands of hair behind her ear just as Augustus walked over. She said nothing, only offering another smile and a nod. As he left, she turned to Jack with another, slightly louder laugh. “Wow. He came to welcome us personally. Way to make us feel like V.I.P.s, right? But, no. I've yet to catch anyone's interest.” Under the radar...Just the way it should be. She purred to herself in her thoughts.
Arturo grabbed a fresh green apple from the bowl, biting into it. “Buongiorno, Myra, Genevieve, Kaelana, Cheveyo, Posy. Not much fresh meat this year. Un vero peccato.” He sighed after greeting everyone in a single breath. Kaelana regarded him with a wave of her hand before motioning a bunch of grapes towards herself. He smirked as the whole bunch rolled towards her and right to her hands. She was mumbling with a frown as she popped them in one at a time. “By the way, Gaea -” Arturo started, leaning over the table. “Il nuovo look è oh così molto sexy. Mi piace.” He grinned and dodged a hit as she struck out at him, but he was whipped across his cheek by a vine that came out of her palm.
Cheveyo clone was smart enough to lean back for Kaelana's attempted slap, grinning as he shook his head. He caught a sudden glance of darkening clouds outside, a frown forming. “It was supposed to be sunny today...Strange.” He shrugged, dismissing the thought. Arturo was bickering with Kaelana, per usual. Cheveyo had zoned into the conversation just enough to pick up that they were arguing about which number they'd be practicing for the first competition. Kaelana wanted to do more ethnic music, while Arturo wanted to stick to chart toppers that others could sing along to. The Native American rolled his eyes as Arturo threw his hands up in defeat and simply fell silent.
Kae smirked before turning to face Posy. “Hey, love. You ready for class?”
Cheveyo smiled over to Myra. “Hey, My. You been practicing your Calculus?”
Arturo glanced over at Haven with a gentle smile and offered her a friendly wink. Haven was a sweet girl and spending time with her was easy because they never fought or argued about anything. It was relaxing being around her, really. He glanced to see if Kaelana was looking, but to his dismay, the Brazilian wasn't paying any attention to him.
