The red head simply gave Aya a small smile as the auburn haired girl slightly rambled, but Kaiko didn't mind since she seemed rather nice. "I was in a different class last year, but I've heard about you," Kaiko responded before adding, "And please don't call me by my last name, I get harassed enough by all the other girls in the school calling me 'Ishigawa-sama!," she stressed, even giving a rather high pitched impression of the several peers and underclassmen that greeted her just this morning. "I'll call you Aya-san, since I think you are older than me, and you can call me by my first name, it's only fair." Kaiko felt a little strange as Taura agreed with Aya in joining the swim team with those ever-glaring eyes of hers, but she simply shrugged it off since the upperclassman's words came out in a rather kind manner. Instead she shifted her gaze back to the girl in her class.
She drifted off as Aya mentioned joining one of the other clubs, she was rather skeptical about the swimming team, since as she mentioned before, she's not the best swimmer, but the broadcast club sounded okay. She did think about joining it the year before but with all her studies and hospital volunteering, she just couldn't muster up enough time for another club. This year, her parents told her specifically to be more active in the school community, and being one to always follow orders, she hesitantly agreed. "I'm not so sure about the swim team, I can swim decently, but I'm sure the other school's students will swim laps around me. I may join the broadcast club this year..." Kaiko murmured, appearing to be in deep thought.
"Anyway Aya-san, I think the welcome ceremony started a little while ago, would to go with me? We can sign up for our clubs then go to class afterwards, most of the other students act rather strangely around me, so it's kind of hard to get someone to accompany me." Kaiko said, eyeing the underclassmen who were mingling with the other girls of her year. When one of them caught her looking their way, the girl let out an ear piercing squeal and called out, "Good morning, Ishigawa-sama!". "See?" She whispered, giving Aya a knowing wink. "I tried to befriend them, but I think I came off rather cold." With her arms crossed, those cold, criticizing eyes, it was no wonder that the girls felt Kaiko was on a whole different social status than they were, though Kaiko remained completely oblivious to this fact.
