Kyros saw Lucien and his human sleeping, so he ducked out of the room, whistling low before heading back to his tower. He bypassed his bedroom, heading straight for Vila's room. Up the spiral stairs, and opening the door. But, just as he took a step in, he stopped.
What had he come here for? He couldn't remember. Mentally retracing his steps, he walked to her dresser, spying a perfume bottle. He picked it up, sniffing it, and frowned. Kyros hadn't bought this for her. Where the hell did this come from? Still frowning in confusion, he put the bottle back and walked to her bed. Already made, of course. He made a mental note to give the human maids a raise in food rations as he walked out of the door.
