“Ahh… there is nothing like a bit of wind and fair weather to smooth your feathers…” Katherine said blissfully, circling above the town to stretch her wings. She spread out her arms and smiled widely, feeling the wind flow through her hair. She was in her usual attire. A dark purple shirt that cut high to show her lean middle, some light brown pants and black leather combat boots. Opening her eyes, she gazed downwards, and decided it was time to land. She was late already, so why did it matter. Shrugging, she curled in her wings, and gave an eagle’s cry. She plummeted downwards, and at the last second, unfurled her wings, creating a large gust of wind. A bunch of people yelled in complaint and Katherine shrugged them off. She walked through the street, fingers laced together and behind her head. Her eyes were shut as she walked, using her powerful hearing and smell to guide her to the guild.
Leaning on the door, she pushed it open with her bum, still not removing her hands from behind her head. Opening one eye, she slowly made her way to the other side of the room where a group of different breeds were speaking to each other about a “Group of Bandits.” She glanced from the group to the sign, then walked over to the sign, and added her name below that last person’s. Putting her hands in her pockets, she looked back at the odd group, and saw the sign, “New Recruits”. Sighing deeply, she decided she might as well just join them to get the hang of the new place. Katherine plopped herself down neck to a silver haired male. “Hello.” Katherine said, her voice powerful and commanding just for that simple greeting.
