Why did i ever think traveling in such a big group was a good idea? Matt thinks to himself as he sits in the corner of the safe house, the moans and screams of the infected horde right outside filling his ears. He looks around at the others in the room seven people including me, He thinks as he scans the small group. out of a militia caravan of one hundred, only seven made it. His gaze settles on a young child he guesses is somewhere between eight and ten years of age. My god... Im not sure if this kid is really lucky or badly cursed. Matt heaves a sigh. "If only they had been more careful." He mumbles, speaking about the person who bumped into the car hard enough to make the alarm go off.

"Well, i suppose the first thing to do is ask if anyone got bit while trying to run?" He says as he looks around, after studying the faces he gets the feeling no one did, but they could be hiding their pain well, it's their response that would alert him. "And if you're not bit, did you get hurt in any other way?" Just as he finished asking there was a terrible scream from outside, someone must have tried to hide somewhere else and had been found. Matt closes his eyes and rubs his face. Why did it have to happen like this? He thinks.
