Katherine felt her wings twitch for a moment. "Excuse me?" She said. There were icicles growing from her voice. "You think I will be slowing you down? I think I will have to slow down to let you catch up to me," She snapped, crossing her arms and leaning back in her chair. Her eyes were like daggers, staring into the girl who had just spoken as if she wasn't there. She probably didn't know that Katherine's hearing is enhanced, so Katherine was able to catch what she said. Katherine's gaze swept over all of the people at the table, and debated just ditching them and taking her own job.
