Damascus was laying in bed while his waterplane There was little to do during the trip, and he had already burned through three books in the past 5 hours. Soon, a voice interrupted his reading, "Sire, we will land in approximately 30 minutes."

Looking up he nodded, smiling, "Thank you. I appreciate the notice." he stood up, and replaced his books, organizing them with the dozens of others in the shelves along the wall alphabetically. He closed the shelf case, and moved to the main seating area. sitting down, he buckled himself in and dosed for the remaining 20 minutes of the landing on the water. When all was said and done, he grabbed his personal bag that held one or two books and his laptop, and got off of the plane. The sun was brighter than he was used to, so he put on a pair of sunglasses, and smiled at the man greeting him.

"Prince, Damascus, We are honored to have you join us."

"My deepest apologies for my late arrival." he answered as he walked down the dock. "We had a problem with the plane's engine." He truly did not have to explain himself to the man, but he didn't care. Turning back to the giant waterplane, he looked to see his butler and another man unloading his suitcase. He only had one, but it was more of a giant trunk, six feet long. "Could you please direct me to my quarters, please? and also would you be so kind as to tell them that I am continuing on to the resort lobby ahead of them."

"Of course, Sir."

Damascus walked off the dock to The resort as he said he would, but noticed that a few of the other attendees were on the beach speaking to each other. Changing direction, he walked up and spoke, "Greetings friends. How are you enjoying this fine day?"
