'Easy boy...easy.' I muttered in my Californian accent as I made sure to pick my feet up quickly in case the gelding managed to land his dainty but heavy hooves on my own. My gelding pricked his ears up and lifted his tail, lifting his upper lip in reaction to his new surroundings. The hustle and bustle of the new yard was even making me a little edgy as I quickly tied Pip up against the trailer and moved his haynet to his new position.

After checking he was more or less settled, I quickly grabbed the paperwork from the shelf above the passenger seat of the the box and made my way into the reception area. I dodged others quickly, frantically trying to get the necessary information I needed so I could start my life here.
