Having risen at five a.m. Persephone had been awake for hours, if it was up to her she'd sleep much longer but apparently as she grew older her body needed less sleep. After a leisurely shower, throwing on black ballet flats and a simple blue cotton dress, a quick cup of tea and a thorough read through of the morning paper the angel sighed and tried to stave off the restless feeling she felt growing every day. The petite brunette knew it wasn't just her imagine working overtime, she knew for a fact that events were coming to a head. If the visions weren't so fuzzy maybe she could gain a firmer grasp of what she was supposed to do...or stop, but that wasn't happening right now. She was finding it increasingly hard to concentrate and keep ahold of her scattered thoughts lately.

Exiting her cute one story cottage on a corner lot in a quiet neighborhood, Persephone hopped onto her bicycle, safely tucking her purse and books into the basket strapped to the front. She fastened her helmet and rode for the school which was only half a mile away from her home. Cycling through the neighborhood's tree lined streets she allowed her mind to wander, thinking about her first class of the day, what type of flowers she wanted to put in the back garden and how she was going to gently let down Vince, the gym teacher who'd asked her out to dinner yesterday afternoon. It wasn't that Persephone was adverse to the idea of dating in fact it was quite the opposite. She just had a particular someone she had in mind for this date and it was most definitely not Vince.

Liam rose early and slipped quietly out of his average two-story cookie cutter house, knowing that both of his parents had already left for the day he took off for his daily run reveling in the short amount of freedom he was afforded every day when they were gone. He might have been the youngest of five which definitely had it's advantages, Liam got to act more like a normal kid than any of his brothers, but he was still under an insane amount of pressure to be and remain perfect. That on top of the haunting visions he was receiving more and more often was nearly too much bear.

Focusing on placing one foot in front of the other, his breathing and the sound of his heart pumping fast and strong, Liam was able to momentarily forget the pressures that hounded him. He was much the same when it came to intellectual pursuits, in essence draining himself physically and mentally just so he could get some distraction from all of the noise and confusion in his head.

Realizing he had less than half an hour to get to school he turned back towards his house and slipped in the back door. Taking the time for a quick shower and change he left through the front door and locked it behind him knowing that he'd probably be the first one home anyway. Hopping into the rusty truck that originally had been his eldest brother's and had been in the hands of every Barristan brother since he rubbed the dash gently and encouraged her to start up and last through the rest of the school year. Turning the engine over he shifted into gear and pulled out of his parent's drive.

Heading into the school parking lot he caught sight of his best friend, Michael, doing the same and gave him a quick wave before he haphazardly pulled into a spot. Laughing as he leapt out of the old truck that was still sputtering and shuddering to a complete stop, Liam hitched his backpack onto his shoulders and headed in the direction of the actual school building walking slow enough for his friends to catch up to him if they chose.

Sitting in his car outside of the small one bedroom apartment his father rented for him Flynn lit a cigarette as he rolled down the driver side window. He was contemplating on whether or not he really felt like going to school today, a fight he had in his head every morning he was supposed to be at the place he viewed more as a prison than a place of learning. Flynn wasn't a particularly good student but he was currently passing all of his classes and if he wanted to make this his final year in school he figured he'd probably ought to go. Cursing under his breath he sullenly started his car and began heading in the direction of school.

Checking his phone for a text from his girlfriend, he frowned when he noticed no word from her. it had been a couple days and Flynn was finally starting to get the picture that things might be heading south. Maybe it was because he was a tad bit unreliable, or constantly broke and then there were the fainting spells. Can't forget those.

Every morning he wondered if this would be the day that he'd be put to the test, would he go through with it. Fulfill his purpose and be a good little angel like he was supposed to be or turn tail and run and prove everyone right about it. Tossing his phone into the empty seat beside him he flipped a quick u-turn and headed away from his prior destination. He suddenly wasn't feeling it anymore.

Heading further into the wooded areas that surrounded town he parked his car in one of the camping ground parking lots and headed down to the water, lighting another cigarette as he lightly hopped down to the shore. Copping a seat on an outstretched rock, the moody teenager began to skip rocks across the smooth surface of the lake and began practicing his call to the school later.

"Uh yes, This Ian Avery, My son Flynn Avery won't be able to make it to his classes today. He's quite ill. Thank you." He mocked his father's deep and authoritative voice before he dissolved into soft laughter. "Works everytime." Flynn finished with a sly grin to himself.
