Amai's jaw couldn't get any lower as John-kun spoke of the game, as if he were reciting the pledge. He... what? She was suddenly holding his hand between her own small ones as she looked up at him eagerly.'
"THAT Legend of Zelda... correct? I am quite well versed with the series myself, nothing quite beats dueling Ganon with the Master sword..."
"Y-you play!?" She asked happily- her eyes nearly shimmering with happiness. That game was pretty much her life and bringing it up to her was like telling her she was going on a five week vacation to some gaming convention. She didn't know anybody else that knew of the game and spoke about it aloud as if it were nothing. Josh-kun absolutely scored some brownie points weither he knew it or not. Nearly bouncing on her heals she let go of his hands blushing. Maybe she shouldn't have just grabbed him like that..
"S-sorry.. I just get REALLY excited when playing that game and talking about it..." She said giggling and backing away from him a bit more to give his space. She certainly didn't like it when people did that to her so she had no right to such a thing.
"You... said you like cooking right? What do you like to cook?"
"Well... since I work at the Cafe as a waitress I usually help in the kitchen a lot so I make all kinds of stuff. Mostly sandwiches or steak. but I love making more exotic foods that I can mess with the recipes and make the food even better! Like for sandwiches the most popular one there is the avocado and asparagus egg sandwiches. Though it doesn't sound very good I love it and so do the customers!" Most food didn't have exotic name but then again thats why they have the saying "Don't knock it, till ya' try it!
"Food from other countries are delicious, too. Let's see I also can make... Chicken Tetrazzini, Sashimi, Chicken and Cheese Quesadilla Pie, Zuppa Toscana Soup, Hash Brown Quiche, Chazuke, Pepperoni and mozzarella stuffed chicken, Donburi, Simple French Bread Pizza, Brie & Bacon Grilled Cheese, Crabcakes with Lemon Dill Mayonnaise, Cilantro Lime Shrimp with Green Beans, diffrent types of Curry, Sashimi..."
Amai blushed again as she found she was talking a bit much and stopped counting the foods off her fingers. "Ah, i'm making myself hungry... ehehe, but cooking is really fun so I guess you can call it a passion... I've always wanted to make a Bento box too but I don't exactly have anyone to give it to- so they can tell me if it's good or not..." She admitted with a pout. Most of the guys and girls of the school steered clear of her so she never had the chance to ask someone. Especially since giving something like that to someone represented a intimate relationship and such.
