Charmander's eyes widened as the Thunderbolt attack electrocuted it. Wobbling, it fainted and fell over, meaning that Sonny had won this battle, since Seth had no other Pokemon to battle with. Seth hurried over to his defeated Pokemon and gently petted it.
"That's okay, buddy. You gave it a good try. We'll get you fixed up and in fighting shape in no time."

Charmander had gained some experience, but not enough to make a significant impact, since it lost the battle. Seth picked his friend up and smiled at Sonny.
"Congratulations on your victory. It was a fun battle."
He began walking back toward Pallet Town. Professor Oak would have an Awakening Potion and a Potion that he would need to get Charmander back good as new.
