Elsa was busy frowning at her homework, willing it to become done when two students wondered over to her table.
Elsa jumped in her seat as Liam Barristan sat at the table with her, pulling out a science book. This in itself was enough to make Elsa shocked, but it was the person with Liam that made her want to shrink into the seat. Elsa glanced behind Liam at Michael and quickly turned her focus back to Liam. She wasn't usually nervous around Mike but his appearance had caught her off guard.
"What did you do to yourself, Elsa? And also Good Morning." Liam asked.
"Homework." She answered with a sigh of defeat, holding up said homework. It looked sad and empty.
"It's due today and I've left it far too late." Elsa could and should have done it earlier but her concentration had been focused on a new book she had found that had some information on Angels. It was, she discovered, information she already knew but she had spent the last two nights skimming through the book and re-reading passages in case there was anything new for her to learn. As a result her school homework had been neglected.
She placed the sheet back on the table and held her pencil in her hand, still trying to figure out how to act.
"Why am I so nervous?" She thought to herself, gripping her pencil slightly too hard in her hand. She didn't normally get this anxious around Michael, or anyone really. She usually breezed through life at her own speed, taking most people in her stride.
She took a short breath and finally managed to look up at Michael,
"Have you done it yet?" Her question was directed at Michael but she lost her nerve at the last moment and moved her head to include Liam in the question too.
