Enda fumbled with possibly lying or just telling him outright that she would rather not let him know. She only just met these people, but...what were a few vague details? They would never be able to reach Sozo.
"We were...I was...in a war," began Enda. "Against a rival kingdom. She made eye contact with everyone they passed, staring at them just as much as they were staring at her. "Spirits, everyone here..." came a quick mumble, eyes carrying to their wings. Even all her time in Wing City, in Sozo...strange places, but this...?
"...ah. Sorry. I was serving in a war...and it seemed the tides had changed just for us. Unluckily, something happened to turn that coin over again. As much as I tried to fix it, I wasn't doing much more than making the situation worse, so I left in the midst of an attack. As cowardly as that sounds, it wasn't...it was the only thing to do to help."
Enda bit her lip. Perhaps that was a bit much. "What are you all? Everyone has wings, here. I can't quite say I've experienced anything like this. It's amazing."
