Claudia glanced from her twin, to Jesse, and the new guy- no, Eden. Instead of a friendly wave or smile that his jock-like face prepared her for, she received a cold nod. As if the weather were radiating from him, the male just stared in boredom at her, completely unamused. Well.. fuck you too then, she thought to herself. Not allowing her smile to fade, she turned back to Jesse who was rubbing his nose. "Well, let's go inside. No point in freezing to death." Leading the way, she walked into their house. As she went through the door she made her way to the living room, having left the fire going when she decided to go clear her head with the snow. The boys would no doubt take over the bar for studying, so she didn't bother taking a seat over there. Instead, she retrieved her abandoned book and flopped onto the couch. Her shoes left wet prints across the polished hardwood, but instead of worrying about it, she decided to just leave it. After all, in about five hours the house would be flooded with people anyway.

There's just something about trying to read on a comfy couch with a warm fire around. It's impossible not to fall asleep! Believe me, I really tried. But it just seemed like the harder I tried to focus on the book, the more tired I got. I remember hearing the guys talking about something completely off topic. It was no wonder Jesse was failing his classes, even with Klaus tutoring him. I never understood why Klaus didn't just... you know, grow a pair and ask the guy out. Not like they weren't adorable together. I guess Klaus was just afraid of what Jesse might say... or worse, what father would say when he found out. If only he knew how it would all end, back then... I bet he would have told him everything.

Time: 10:34 PM

How long she had been sleeping, she didn't know, but she was woken up by the blaring sound of a car horn and the repetitive pulse of the doorbell being abused. The sudden shock of her system coming back online was enough to fault her off the couch and into the floor. Luckily, she missed the coffee table by an inch or two. Groaning, she pulled herself off the floor, and tried to figure out what on Earth could possess anyone to be making such awful noise. She staggered to the front door and slung it open, her groggy state of mind not comprehending anything as a large group of people yelped in joy at the sight of her and pushed past her carrying kegs. What the-- THE PARTY! Oh, right!

Her mood was instantly lifted, and by 10:45 the surround sound system was blaring Icona Pop - I Love It. The room swirled around her as her body dipped and swayed to the music, a guy in one hand, a red cup of vodka in the other. Her long platinum hair whipped to and fro in and out of her view as her neck snapped to the bass. All feeling had melted away, numbed by the alcohol in her system and drowned out by the lyrics of the throbbing song."I. Don't. Care! I. Love. it! I. Love. It!" she sang, her words only slightly slurred as she ground her hips into the male in front of her. She had no idea who he was. They had turned the lights off and turned a strobe light on, making it nearly impossible to tell what was going on. Next thing she knew, she could taste the sour bitterness of beer on her tongue as the male's thick lips crushed in against her own.

Disgusted, she reared back and punched him in the face, sending him stumbling backwards, having been caught off guard. Blood dribbled from his nose. "You bitch," he growled, looking as if her might punch her back. "Get the FUCK out of my house!" she snapped back, completely serious one moment, and then giggling the next. The guy, Aaron, looked extremely pissed off, and stormed out of the room, bumping into Klaus on his way out. "You're sister's a fucking lunatic," Aaron growled, holding his broken nose in one hand and pushing his way through the crowd to the door with the other.

For some reason, she couldn't stop laughing, and downed the rest of the alcohol in her cup. Her eyes searched around the room for her brother, but she couldn't find him in the tangled mess of people. Somewhere in her deranged state of mind, she thought that he was in the bathroom upstairs, and so she slowly stumbled her way through the crowd. When she reached the bathroom, she threw the door open, finding no one inside, but seeing the curtain to the bathtub pulled. "Here, Klausy, Klausy, Klausy... come out and play brother," she called, her voice deep and slow, sounding more like a predator than a loving sister. "Found you," she chirped, throwing the curtain open, only to reveal an empty tub.

A confused expression brushed over her face, but only for a moment. It was quickly replaced by a giggle fit, which ended with her suddenly collapsing to the floor. She lay on the bathroom floor, looking up as the room began to twist and distort itself around her. She stared off quietly, feeling the thump of the bass rattle the hard wood of the second floor. A figure appeared in the doorway, and she smiled lazily up at it. "There you are," she sighed, "you naughty boy. I was looking everywhere for you..." Her voice trailed off as the dark figure moved closer to her.
