Eden licked his lips as the cool winter wind blew in his face. His eyes drifted from the white of the snow to Claudia. He noted that she didn't bring her coat. His inner gentleman was tempted to offer his coat, but he quickly chose not to. If she was dumb enough not to bring a coat then let her ass freeze.
Old habits die hard, my nice streak was bound to break sometime.
He hopped into the passenger's seat, wordlessly, allowing his blue eyes to gaze out of the window in faint awe. He loved the snow and the cold. The sweet memories of Russia roamed his mind and for a minute he was in bliss. However, his thoughts were interrupted when her voice slice through his concentration.
"So... you live in the old Aberdeen house?", he could practically hear her smile, but he kept his head turned away from her. He nodded, eyes still on the snow.
My family likes their privacy, so the Aberdeen house was in the perfect location. It was in the woods, near Winchester creek. No one bothered to go there, and my father knew it. He did his research. I didn't like the house, but I was fond of the forestry. I liked that I could have a place to calmly hate everyone.
They pulled up into front of the house and Eden sighed in relief. He glanced at Claudia, eyes portraying nothing. He felt as if he should say something..."You should keep the peas on your eye." With that, he left, closing the door behind him.
I forgot to mention that I have siblings. Two of them, actually. I'm the eldest and the only boy. Well, there's Lily, she's adopted and she is the youngest, but then there is Elena, the middle child and the bitch. You'll see what I mean...
"Eddie!" Eden rolled his eyes as Elena ran out of the house just as he exited the car. "Where the hell were you? I had to finish unpacking without you."
"Ugh, Elena get in the house," Eden groaned. "Your making yourself look bad."
Elena rolled her crystal eyes. "Were you out screwing her or something?" She gestured to Claudia, eyeing the other girl with a look of disgust. "Ew, you sure know how to pick them. She smells like a bar."
"In the house, now, Elena!" Eden growled lowly, eyes darkening and fangs poking his lip. Elena sneered at Claudia before walking back into the house in anger. Eden sighed, composing himself before looking back at Claudia. He gave her a slight nod in thanks before trekking up the path and entering his home.
