Spyri had finally shaken the permanent look of disgust that plagued her face as the fish plagued her nose. Now that look was replaced in hesitation and minor fear. It wasn't the heights she minded, it was the elevator.
"Eheh," She craned her neck to look up, locking eyes with the cliff edge. From up there, could anything smell like fish? It was a loooooooooooooooong way up. It couldn't be like anything in the Midlands. Nothing here was like anything in the Midlands. Compared to Aslund this place was bizarre. It was exotic. It was fishy.
