The Hatter turned slowly towards the retreating back of that horrible fiend Riley, his eyes narrowed into angry slits. He hated that person with a terrible wrath.
Jefferson let out a snort, rolling his eyes before looking at Devin with a softer expression. He did not like Riley, mainly for his unrelenting need to see into others lives...their dreams. He also hated the idea of the man being able to see his dreams of Wonderland for fear of him actually being able to follow Jefferson into his world. The idea of Riley meeting Alice sent chills down the hatted mans back.
He also did not like the way that Riley pestered Devin just now. It was worrisome to think that she had to deal with this mans attention when Jefferson was not around. He had no doubt that Devin could handle herself, but this dream stealing monster could get her when she was least expecting it, in her sleep.
"Are you alright?" Jefferson asked Devin earnestly, "That man....I do not like that man. Please be careful?" He sighed and leaned against the door frame. Fergusten was taking some time with the tea, unsurprising to Jefferson. The man seemed to always take a long time when he was in the kitchen due to his infatuation with a certain staff member.
