Devin only nodded as Jefferson told her to be careful. She was as careful as she could possibly be in her room. Her fingers absentmindedly played with Jefferson's as she waited for the doctor and their tea. Her fingers played with his own as her head pressed against the door frame. Her eyes locked on the kitchen as she thought about them, wondering how long it'll be before they got their tea. She wanted to sit down and just...be away from Riley.
"He makes the puppets angry." was all she murmured gently. Her hand gently squeezed his. "I'm glad I'm with you, Jefferson." She whispered.
