Ruthtaika listened and nodded to confirm she understood what Muto said. She hugged back and saw him beginning to walk away. She did feel a pang of guilt for not explaining herself about the letters, so she walked up to him and said, "Muto, about the letters my brother sent to me." Her eyes did express a hint of sadness. "I didn't mention them before because I know how the Betans would react to anything written by him. Sure, Hanryyt went out of control in that incident with Maarzan, but he has a good heart. His tough and scary persona in a fight is just a mask, he is actually very sensitive on the inside. It's just that, people don't see that side of him often. You have to truly know him in person to witness his sensitivity come out of him."

She said what she had to, what Muto thought of her after that would be revealed, in time. Her head downcast, she turned and walked back to her house. There, she sat at her desk and looked at the painting of Hanryyt she had made by one of the local artists before the invasion. It showed him holding the Bo Staff of Davu for the first time. A tear came down as she thought of the times when she did not have to worry for his sake.

That night, a messenger knocked on the door and told her she was chosen as a suitor, to which she agreed with a soft smile. She had no idea what was in store for her. Plus, with many more women that could have been chosen for the long process, she was a little worried.

The Sacrirans in Sacrira Neuvi were in a mix of panic and outrage after hearing what Queen Anyrse said of the war. People began to worry for their loved ones. however, it was not as wild as the Queen might have feared, though it was sort of chaotic. Eventually, members of the Second Sacriran Order who were there managed to calm everyone down somewhat. The fears remained, yet they were tame.

Hagara noticed Razdan's reactions and laughed lightly. "Nobody said being a Monk or Nun was always eventful."

Daviko led everyone to the table, where Hagara and Razdan were offered to sit first. Once they did, Daviko sat, as well, motioning for Netsu to do the same. Eventually, two Templarim, the older one being the very leader of the Protection League and the most powerful Templarim in the world, Joshuntaf. The younger one was a female who, in Templarim years, was about Razdan's age, if not a bit older. They both stood in the kitchen with the rest of the group.

Hagara smiled warmly. "Joshuntaf. It's nice to see you are alive and well, considering the Security Force is gone."

Joshuntaf laughed a little. "Oh, believe me: I had a hard time ensuring the safety of many people, as per Ruthtaika's orders. I've got a few scars to show for that. Well, now that I formed the Protection League, plenty of instances where people's lives were saved from the crossfire gave me more scars on my chest and back, so I can't tell which came from which, anymore. You're not looking terrible, yourself. I see you still wear the Security Force uniform."

"It's a reminder of the past."

"I see. How did the destruction of God items in mortal possession go?"

"Nightling almost had us trapped, but the taskforce I was in managed to destroy the known ones. We were ordered to wait for further instructions while we travel elsewhere, which is how I came across Razdan, here."

"That's good to know. We could not risk a war where such divine power was used to wreak even more havoc. There was no telling what kind of damage there could have been."

"I haven't heard from the man in charge of the operation since. He has gone on alone, and I can only hope he is all right."

Joshuntaf laughed, again. "Knowing him, he most likely is."

The young female Templarim, Ruthumtya Sasakimu, noticed Razdan and said, "Razdan, huh? That's a cute name for an Amare." She gave the boy a wink, then refocused her attention on the task at hand, her face showing all seriousness. "Anyway, we shall keep watch at the river and let you know of anything going on at the other side. If anyone crosses, we'll be the first to come across them."

Joshuntaf shrugged. "Yes, it is as she described it, though I have repeatedly told her she should not expect everything to come easily, considering what we could face."

Daviko shrugged, as well. "Well, this is a largely isolated area, so we hope things don't get bloody. Right, Setsu?"

Abnersa was about to pull his katana out when a man said he was safe. Whatever amount of his katana he pulled out, he immediately pushed back into his scabbard. he listened intently and knew immediately what was being talked about. Every word was registered into his mind. He was hesitant, at first, because he knew this could be a trap. Plus, it was not just Republic refugees, there were Federation ones, too, and he doubted any Federation Sacriran would follow him. Still, this was his last chance to keep his goals sound. In order for the Sacrirans to be stronger than before, certain enemies must be vanquished.

Eventually, he moved his hand from his katana, to the cloaked Expeller's hand. "Hanryyt Androscaf na Davutite has been a thorn in my side for long enough. Should I succeed, it shall be his head, not mine, on that pole."

Marilaiku sat down with her Rejiv Vitalita, taking a sip while thinking of what to say. "So, uh... have you ever been to the dojo? I am an instructor there, so that's where I often focus my time at." She honestly did not know what to talk about. She merely thought of it as she went.
