Dan smiled when a white blur appeared beside him and dropped the last of his second hamburger to the deck and watched as the white wolf picked at the bun to get to the meat beneath and chuckled as his lip drew back and his tongue lapped at his jaws at the taste of the mustard but ate the meat anyway. "How are you doing big guy?" he asked as he reached down to scratch between the wolfs ears. Admiring the tattoo like markings about the ice blue eyes of the wolf and pleased with the way the scars on his muzzled healed without any complications.

Scar, for that was the name his human gave him, growled lowly at the scratching as he rubbed up against the hand and looked up at him, his eyes giving away his happiness and content.

Dan smiled as he continued to scratch Scar's head before he stood and began to clean up, arching a brow as Scar finished off the remains of his snack and chuckled again. "You are the strangest animal yet, Scar. But I don't think I'd want you to change." he said as he cleaned up his mess and entered the kitchen, leaving the sliding door open for his pal and began to clean up fully. Putting the buns away, sliding the onions, tomatoes and lettuce into zip lock baggies and placed them into the fridge. The chips, that were left, he put back in their bag and into the cabinet and headed for the living room followed by Scar.

Sitting on the couch Scar laying at his feet, Dan turned off the stereo and turned on the TV and flipped through the channels until he reached Animal Planet and grinned as the Big Cat Diaries came into view. Leaning sideways on the couch, Dan resumed petting and scratching Scar's head.
