"We all just want to be normal." Nik shrugged in agreement "But we all have our own shit to get through." he continued "You're not a freak." he was trying t make up for what Dustin had said "You're broken, sure." she frowned gently at the thought of being broken "But some people like broken." she glanced up at him with a small smile when he said that.
“Trust me babe, I’m a freak” she sighed thinking about the fact that she could talk to her horses and understand them, that sounded so ridiculous to her. “So tonight wasn’t a total disaster.” she said setting the bottle on top the piano.
She stood up, walking over and kneeling in front of him, her eyes meeting his. She sighed softly at the bruise around his eye and his swollen lip. She kissed his lips as gently as possible, before placing her lips to the side of his eye, careful not to hurt him. Than finally she placed her lips where the gun was placed on his temple and gently kissed the spot. She knelt back down in front of him placing her arms around his neck and interlocking her fingers.
“If I would have lost you tonight…” she whispered “I would have pulled a classic Romeo and Juliet stunt, all though I don’t know if it would have been as romantic.” She said kissing him again, before standing back up and walking to the small radio in the corner, flipping through the CD, before picking one and popping it in.
A soft song drifted through the small room. She walked back over in front of him. “Think you can dance?” she asked “Promise I won’t let you fall.” She said softly offering her hand.
Jessie smirked when she asked what kind of crazy they were, but he didn’t reply. She handed him a pill which he took willingly and thanked her with another kiss on the cheek. He was slightly confused when she stood up and pulled him up with her.
He was a little hesitant when she started to lead him up the stairs, knowing full well she was hiding something up there, that no one had ever scene. It might as well have been her hear tin a jar the way she protected this place.
His eyes widened when they reached the top, it was probably the most amazing thing he’d ever seen, her work was amazing, just like her. He thought to himself. It was really breath taking, he looked around taking it all in, it was like seeing the most personal parts of someone’s imagination.
He glanced down able to tell she was nervous about taking him up there. He walked over to the blanket that was laid out and sat next to her. “There beautiful.” He whispered to her lifting her chin until their eyes met “Just like you babe.” He smiled kissing her lips softly before pulling away. “I can’t believe you’ve been hiding this.” He laughed looking around once again amazed by her work.
His eyes fell on a group of paintings against on wall, one of them resembled him and he smirked playfully. “Wow, pretty spot on although, I think I’m a bit more attractive.” He teased.
